Message MeCarlos Partee is a serial entrepreneur, community advocate, and motivational speaker dedicated to building platforms that create real impact for entrepreneurs. As the founder of Nashville Black Market, Carlos has transformed a simple idea into a thriving ecosystem — giving Black-owned businesses visibility, resources, and a direct connection to their community. Under his leadership, Nashville Black Market has become a cultural staple in the city, hosting high-energy markets, events, and experiences that celebrate Black excellence and entrepreneurship. In addition to NBM, Carlos is also the founder of Cashville Etc, a lifestyle and apparel brand that proudly represents Nashville culture and Southern hustle. His passion for storytelling and connecting with community doesn’t stop there — Carlos is also a radio personality on WNXP 91.1, where he uses the airwaves to highlight music, culture, and community voices. He was also featured in the Exit 207 documentary, a project shining a light on the stories shaping Nashville’s creative scene. A recognized leader in both business and culture, Carlos was named an In Charge Convener by the Nashville Post and awarded the Retail & Hospitality Growth Award by the Nashville Entrepreneur Center, honoring his work in growing retail spaces and cultivating thriving marketplaces. Beyond Nashville, Carlos mentors and supports entrepreneurs across the nation — sharing his knowledge, resources, and real-life experience to help other business owners level up, stay encouraged, and win in their own lanes. Above all, Carlos is committed to building an authentic community, creating access, and pouring into the next generation of entrepreneurs. If you catch him out, say what’s up — he’s always down to connect.
